Dr. Aldo Javier Guzmán Duxtan

Computational quantum chemistry

Aldo Javier Guzmán Duxtan is a chemist specialized in inorganic chemistry and an associate lecturer in the Department of Physical Chemistry at UNMSM's Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, in Lima. He coordinates the Laboratory of Quantum Chemistry and New Materials, working on molecular physical chemistry, computational quantum chemistry and nanomaterials modeling. His research includes the theoretical study of copper and silver clusters and nanoparticles applied to the design of new materials. He has taken part as co-investigator in projects supported by FIDECOM-FINCYT, CONCYTEC and internal university funds.
