Green synthesis of nanomaterials

Dr. Álvaro de Jesús Ruíz Baltazar is a CONAHCYT researcher assigned to UNAM's Center for Applied Physics and Advanced Technology (CFATA) in Querétaro. His work develops green, sustainable routes for synthesizing functional nanomaterials, including metallic nanoparticles and nanocomposites such as zeolite-silver systems. These materials target antimicrobial uses, water treatment and other environmental applications. He has a substantial record of indexed publications and takes part regularly in materials conferences, including the MRS-Mexico IMRC.
