Dra. Claudia Magdalena López Badillo

Dr. Claudia Magdalena López Badillo is a Professor-Researcher at the Autonomous University of Coahuila, based in the Materials area of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences in Saltillo, where she has worked since 2014. Her research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of ceramic, glass-ceramic and biomaterial systems, with particular attention to the reuse and valorization of industrial waste to create new materials. Over her career she has built a substantial body of scientific work, with dozens of published articles and more than a thousand citations, and has taken on academic coordination roles within her faculty. Her expertise spans solid-state chemistry applied to the development of materials with technological and biomedical value.
