Computational condensed matter
Dr. Corina Urdaniz is an Argentine physicist who earned her doctorate in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires in 2014. She built her career in Argentina as a researcher at CONICET and the National Atomic Energy Commission, and was a lecturer at UBA between 2017 and 2021. Since 2022 she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Quantum Nanoscience of the Institute for Basic Science, at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. Her work combines condensed matter physics and materials science with numerical and computational quantum chemistry methods, including orbital ordering, molecular qubits on surfaces and charge density waves.
