Dr. Fernando Montejo Alvaro

Dr. Fernando Montejo Alvaro is a Mexican researcher in nanoscience and nanotechnology. He completed a master's degree at the School of Mechanical Engineering of UMSNH and a doctorate in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at CINVESTAV-IPN, followed by a postdoctoral stay at the Universidad Tecnológica de la Mixteca. He is currently affiliated with the Instituto Tecnológico del Valle de Etla, part of the Tecnológico Nacional de México. His research covers the development of graphene-based nanomaterials by sputtering and the study, through density functional theory calculations, of molecular adsorption on metallic nanoparticles supported on graphene. He is a level I member of Mexico's National System of Researchers and has published around twenty scientific articles.
