Dr. Luis De Los Santos Valladares

Condensed matter and nanomaterials

Dr. Luis De Los Santos Valladares is a Peruvian physicist specializing in condensed matter and in the preparation and characterization of nanomaterials. He earned his physics degree at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in 2003, where he also taught, and worked as a researcher at CONIDA between 2004 and 2005. He is currently a Research Associate at the Cavendish Laboratory of the University of Cambridge, within the Thin Film Magnetism Group, and has been a Visiting Fellow at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. His fellowships and projects have been supported by the European Commission, the Cambridge Overseas Trust, JSPS, EPSRC and CAPES, and from 2013 to 2014 he served as a project evaluator for the Czech Science Foundation.
