Energy storage

Dr. Mario César Pérez Chávez is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Applied Physics and Advanced Technology of UNAM, Juriquilla campus, in the group of Dr. Jorge Oliva Uc. His work centers on sustainable energy storage, with an emphasis on low-cost supercapacitors made from recycled plastics and biodegradable electrolytes. In March 2025 he presented a talk on this line at the CFATA departmental seminar, addressing both electrochemical performance and the environmental problem of waste. His profile aligns with the congress themes on materials physics applied to energy and the environment.
