Dr. Ramón Román Doval

Dr. Ramón Román Doval is a professor-researcher at the Instituto Tecnológico del Valle de Etla (TecNM), in Oaxaca. He trained as an industrial engineer, earned a master's in mechanical engineering from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo and a doctorate in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from Cinvestav-IPN, followed by a postdoctoral stay in food science at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. He is a Level 1 member of Mexico's National System of Researchers. His work spans synthesis and characterization of micro and nanomaterials, biomaterials for tissue engineering, 3D printing, drug encapsulation and food packaging.
