Zeshan Zada is a researcher in computational materials science and optoelectronics, with a profile linked to the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS-IOP) in Beijing and a prior tie to Islamia College Peshawar, in Pakistan. He uses first-principles calculations based on density functional theory, applying the full-potential augmented plane-wave method with the WIEN2k code. With these tools he studies structural, electronic, magnetic, optical, thermoelectric and thermodynamic properties of compounds such as Heusler alloys and double perovskites. He is a frequent co-author in specialized journals.
