Abstract
Inorganic cesium lead halide perovskite nanoparticles (CsPbX3, where X = Cl, Br, or I) have garnered significant attention due to their outstanding properties and wide-ranging applications. A major area of research has focused on reducing the inherent toxicity of Pb2+ by substituting it in CsPbBr3 perovskites. Cationic doping offers a viable approach to tailor the electronic and optical properties of these nanocrystals, and to enhance their stability. In this context, ZnBr2 and ZnCl2 have emerged as promising, low-toxicity transition metal candidates for partially replacing Pb2+ via the hot-injection synthesis method. The incorporation of these dopants was assessed using absorption spectroscopy, photoluminescence analysis, and X-ray diffraction.
